The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of offering funded support for people with disability, along with their families and carers.
The NDIS is a lifelong approach that offers you choice in your supports and control around how those supports can be provided and who can provide them. The NDIS supports people with disability to build skills and capability so they can participate in the community and employment.
ASTERIA is a registered provider of the NDIS. If you would like to talk to someone about your NDIS plan please call our customer service team on
(03) 5459 0300
You may be eligible to participate in the NDIS if:
When documenting the impact of a person’s disability a general practitioner (GP) or other health professional will be asked to write down how your disability impacts your mobility/motor skills; communication; social interaction; learning; self-care; and self-management.

From 1 July 2019, providers of attendant care and community and centre based activities have access to a higher support price limit through a Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP). The TTP is a conditional loading to assist registered providers with any costs associated in transitioning to the NDIS. ASTERIA is eligible to charge the Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP).
Accordingly, as an organisation committed to transformation in the sector and quality in service delivery, ASTERIA includes the TTP loading for applicable services to all clients.
You can read more about the support items and find our TTP price list in the NDIS price guide 2019 – 20 and the NDIS support catalogue.
People who meet the NDIS access requirements are called participants. Participants receive funded supports and an individual plan towards accessing these services and funds:
