Programs of SupportPrograms of support are outcome focused, provided over 12 weeks, in a group setting and catered to adult learning.
With centres in both Bendigo and Maryborough, participants have regular access to the community. Programs are facilitated by dedicated support staff to help gain independence whilst engaging with others in fun and enjoyable activities. |

Short Term AccommodationASTERIA provides Short Term Accommodation housing to children and adults, based in Maryborough and Bendigo. Participants can stay at our high quality disability housing for up to 14 days and can be shared with a group or an individual stay.

ASTERIA homes range in accessibility requirements and provide fully trained support staff to provide assistance with medication administration, skill building and personal care. Staff can assist with meal preparation and cooking (catering to dietary requirements).

Medium Term AccommodationASTERIA understands life happens and you may require a ‘one off’ medium term accommodation to assist with your current living arrangements. Talk to your support coordinator, local area coordinator or planner, and they will assist you to complete a home and living support request, and once approved, ASTERIA can consider the request based on availability.

ASTERIA has years of experience in assisting participants with transitioning into new living arrangements to ensure you can live comfortably and independently in a safe and nurturing environment.
Medium Term Accommodation is usually funded for up to 90 days and does not include day-to-day living costs like food, internet or utilities. It also does not include any personal care supports, or other in home supports. Other disability supports will be funded separately if you need them whilst you stay in Medium Term Accommodation. |
Supported Independent Living (SIL)Supported Independent Living is a type of NDIS in home support, for people with high support needs, requiring significant
amount of help throughout the day and 24/7 care. Supported Independent Living refers to the on-site support services you receive to help you live independently. |
ASTERIA can provide assistance with your daily living and personal care tasks, assisting with skill development, so you can maximise your independence.
Skilled support staff will provide in home assistance with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, showering, dressing and medication administration. ASTERIA will work with you to achieve your goals, and assist you to live the life you want in a friendly and supportive environment.
